Wow, that sucks.

[ He doesn't sound particularly sympathetic, however. Yuui can only bend so much here. ]

How long have you been a fan of them?

[Yael snorts, amused. Yuui doesn't give a single damn and he knows it, but that's just fine. Yael's having plenty of fun listening to Yuui struggle his way through a conversation about a hobby he couldn't give less of a damn about.]

I've been a fan ever since I was a kid. All we had growing up was a beat up CRT and an antenna that picked up three or four channels, if we were lucky.

One of the star players at the time was a guy who'd grown up without a family like me, so I idolized the man. He made the dream of a good life feel a little more attainable.

[Laughter rumbles in Yael's chest. It's not hard to imagine the kind of child Yuui was, and knowing what he does of his past, it's not hard to piece together how he became the man he is now either.]
