On Day Whatever of Yuui ignoring his texts and calls, a series of heavy knocks falls on his front door. Open up, your asshole boyfriend finally wants to talk.]

[ He knows immediately that those knocks belong to Yael, the weight of them easily identifiable to him. It takes him a little while to finally make his way over to the door, where he still stands and contemplates answering it.

Anger simmers low in the pit of his stomach, and he has to take a deep breath before finally opening the door. ]

What?

[...And there's Yuui, rightfully angry. This is what Yael wanted, right?

He swallows around a leaden throat. In his hands is a bundle of red roses, but he doesn't insist that Yuui take them. They're for him, of course, but Yael has forced him enough as it is.]

[Every word feels awkward on his tongue. He sincerely doubts Yuui cares to hear any of them.]

Yet, seeing those roses in Yael's hand and the apology on his lips gives him pause, his heart aching painfully, still raw from their conversation a couple of days before.

Words feel inadequate and no real, concrete thoughts come to the forefront of his mind for long enough for Yuui to voice them. So, he does all he really can do and rushes forward to wrap his arms around Yael's middle. ]
